Quasar Sports Fest · BKBIET Pilani

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2 October 2026

These terms apply when you use bkbietquasar.in or register for Quasar, the sports fest run by the Quasar organising committee of B.K. Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology (BKBIET), Pilani (“we”, “us”). By signing in or registering you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

Quasar is open to currently enrolled college students with a valid college ID card. Participants register in the Boys or Girls category and may only enter sports offered in that category.

2. Your registration

  • Register only once, with your own Google account and your own details.
  • Everything you submit, including your ID card photo, must be true, current and your own.
  • Registering does not guarantee a place. The organisers review every registration and may approve or reject it at their discretion, for example if details cannot be verified or a team is full.
  • Your approval status is shown on the Register page. Bring your original college ID to the venue; we may check it against your registration.
  • False or misleading information can lead to rejection or disqualification, even after approval.

3. Fees

Registration, accommodation and mess fees are as listed on the website and in the official brochure. They are payable in the way the organisers announce. Any refunds are handled according to the policy announced by the organisers.

4. Conduct

  • Play fairly and respect players, officials, volunteers, spectators and the BKBIET campus.
  • Follow the rules of each sport, the instructions of officials, and BKBIET campus rules.
  • Alcohol, drugs, weapons, harassment, violence and damage to property are strictly prohibited and will lead to disqualification and removal from campus.
  • The decisions of match officials and the organising committee are final.

5. Health and safety

Sports involve physical risk. By taking part you confirm that you are fit to play and that you participate at your own risk. Tell the organisers in advance about any medical condition they should know about. We provide first-aid arrangements during the fest, but to the extent permitted by law we are not responsible for injury, illness, or loss of or damage to personal belongings.

6. Schedule, prizes and changes

The schedule, venues, formats and rules may change. Prize amounts are “up to” figures and may change based on the number of participants, as stated on the site. We may postpone, change or cancel any event if circumstances require it.

7. Photos and media

Quasar is photographed and filmed. By taking part you agree that photos and videos of you at the event may be used on this website, in the Moments gallery and on Quasar’s social media. To have a photo removed, email us.

8. Using this website

Do not misuse the site: do not try to access other people’s registrations or the admin area, upload anything other than your own ID photo, disrupt the service, or scrape it. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. The site is provided “as is”, and we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free.

The Quasar name, logo and site design belong to the organisers. The “Hogwarts Legacy” theme is a fan tribute for a student event and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the owners of the Harry Potter franchise.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The latest version will always be on this page, with the “Last updated” date above.
